This sounds like a luscious opportunity to express your creativity!
San Francisco School of Needlework & Design is hosting a “Stitch at Home Challenge. According to their website, this challenge is their way “to encourage and inspire people to stitch.”
With this challenge, entrants will be provided with some upcycled Swarovski crystals that must be incorporated in the stitched entry. You can find all of the details in the complete rules. You might want to check into this opportunity soon since the crystals are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The deadline is January 15, 2017.
There is lots of great inspiration on the San Francisco School of Needlework & Design site! Be sure to check the “Why Needlework” tab > “Newsworthy” for some very interesting articles about the resurgence of needlework in fashion.
